About Us

The Ozarks Woodshop is a small business focused on constructing quality wood furnishings. We do only a few pieces of furniture each year. We work only with hardwoods and rarely use plywood or medium density fiberboard (MDF) in our projects. Our goal is to craft furniture that will serve you and your family for many generations. We endeavor to provide quality, style, and beauty in each piece we build.

While we have a fully equipped shop, we utilize hand tools in many areas of construction. We can provide many kinds of finishes on our creations, our favorite is simple hand-rubbed oil finish. This process is slower than many of the spray-on finishes but we believe provides a more beautiful product in the end.

We are located in a rural area in on the edge of the Ozark mountains. We are surrounded by forests and pastures, lakes, streams and rivers.

What's New?

Our newest project is a recreation of a Victorian era baby cradle. The cradle is true to the original except the design has been modified to fit a modern baby cradle mattress size and to meet the Consumer Product safety requirements for baby cradles.
